“Huge movement” of drug traffickers detected in the Strait of Gibraltar

The president of the High Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA), Lorenzo del Río, assures that there has been no reduction in police pressure in Campo de Gibraltar, in the province of Cádiz, a route widely used by hashish traffickers from Morocco, after the dismantling of the elite unit of the Civil Guard OCON-Sur.

Unlike the State Attorney General who, in his 2023 report, warned of a decrease in police pressure in Andalusia after the dismantling of this unit, Lorenzo d’El Rio affirmed that there has been no decrease in police pressure in this region.
