Holidaymakers return to northern Morocco
After a period of gloom due to the surge in prices of services in restaurants, cafes and shops, and difficulties linked to transport, tourism is picking up again in the north of Morocco, particularly in Tangier.
The number of visitors to the Tamuda Bay coastline, which stretches from Martil to Fnideq, has increased over the past two weeks by more than 5% compared to previous seasons. As evidence, the northern towns and beaches are experiencing significant crowds and congestion these days, particularly on the coastline stretching from Oued Laou in Tetouan province to Fnideq, passing through Martil and M’diq and the beaches associated with them. The various roads connecting these towns, as well as within them, are experiencing traffic jams sometimes several kilometers long,
