High cost of plane and boat tickets: MREs taken hostage

Moroccans living abroad (MRE) continue to denounce the exaggerated increase in the price of plane and boat tickets, accusing the government and in particular the Ministry of Transport and Logistics of its “negligence in the face of this recurring problem.”

Mohamed C., a Moroccan resident of Brussels who is used to spending his summer holidays in Morocco, deplores this situation. “The prices of air and sea transport for Moroccans around the world are very high this year” compared to 2019, he said, criticizing the Moroccan government for its “lack of responsiveness in finding effective solutions to this suffering experienced by the Moroccan community living abroad and which is renewed every year.”
