Hakim Ziyech’s future at Galatasaray seems compromised. According to information reported by the Turkish press, the management of the Istanbul club has decided not to extend the contract of the Moroccan international during the next transfer window.

Two main reasons would motivate this decision: the player’s performances considered insufficient since the start of the season and his conflicting relations with coach Okan Buruk. Arriving in Turkey in the summer of 2023 from Chelsea, Ziyech did not convince the leaders of Galatasaray despite an honorable record (championship and Turkish Super Cup) and participation in 23 matches with 12 goals.
