Hakim Ziyech under pressure

Despite all the criticism against him, Hakim Ziyech is still in Walid Regragui’s plans. The Moroccan coach is counting on the 31-year-old striker, who is struggling at Galatasaray, to make the difference in the upcoming matches against Gabon and Lesotho, counting for the first day of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) Morocco 2025.

Ziyech will be the focus of attention this Friday, during the match against Gabon which will take place at the Grand Stade d’Agadir. In poor form, the striker is making his return to the national team in a context of changes and will have to prove that he deserves his place in the Atlas Lions’ squad which is full of offensive talents such as Brahim Diaz and Ilias Akhomach.
