Hakim Ziyech insulted as “Stupid” by Israeli player

The Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is once again at the heart of a controversy after his comments published on social networks. He was even insulted as “stupid” by an Israeli player.

Violent incidents broke out in Amsterdam on Thursday evening on the sidelines of the Europa League match between Ajax Amsterdam and Maccabi Tel Aviv (5-0). Israeli supporters were reportedly targeted and attacked by individuals in the streets of the Dutch capital. Videos of these attacks circulated on social networks, notably relayed by the former Ajax player, Hakim Ziyech, accompanied by the comment “And again and again: freedom for Palestine”.
