Hakim Ziyech: back to basics?

The soap opera Hakim Ziyech continues to bounce back. After a mixed stint at Chelsea and an up-and-down season at Galatasaray, the Moroccan international could well come full circle and return to the pitches of Ajax Amsterdam, his favorite club.

A true jack of all trades for the Dutch team, the Moroccan had shone brightly before flying to Chelsea in 2019. But in London, the fairy tale turned sour. Three disappointing seasons later, Ziyech had tried to relaunch himself in Turkey, at Galatasaray.
