Good news for Moroccan employees

Moroccan employees can rub their hands with glee. Tax measures that are favorable to them are included in the draft finance law (PLF-2025).

Moroccan salaries will increase from January 2025. The government has decided to implement the agreement it concluded last April with the unions, more specifically tax breaks. This includes a major revision of income tax (IR). It is a question of raising the first tranche of the scale relating to exempt net income from 30,000 to 40,000 dirhams, i.e. an exemption for income below 6,000 DH/month.
