Gibraltar: families demand justice for Mustafa and Mohamed, killed in 2020
The families of Mustafa Dris, 49, and Mohamed Abdeslam Ahmed, 40, two men from Sebta killed in Spanish waters by a Royal Gibraltar Police patrol boat in March 2020, continue to demand justice. A new hearing is scheduled for May 2025.
Last April, the Court of Appeal overturned the court’s decision convicting the police officers of manslaughter. Following a preliminary hearing Friday, the court decided to have the evidence reexamined by a new jury at a trial to be held in May, reports Ceuta lighthouse.
