Morocco’s co-organisation of the 2030 World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal is giving a boost to the major high-speed rail line (LGV) project linking Kenitra to Marrakech.
The project of the new Kenitra-Marrakech high-speed line (LGV) is progressing rapidly. The Chinese company CRSBG has been selected to carry out the operations of the standard gauge equipment section with a contract estimated at approximately 350 million dirhams. The German company Vossloh Cogifer has been entrusted with the supply of the expansion devices for the engineering structures for a contract of approximately 25.9 million dirhams. A task that it will have to carry out between 12 and 48 months.
