From influence to prison: the fall of Poupette Kenza

Influencer Poupette Kenza, real name Kenza Benchrif, is facing new legal troubles. She was indicted this Sunday, July 7, 2024 for “attempted extortion by an organized gang” and “criminal association” by an investigating judge in Rouen.

Poupette Kenza finds herself once again in the justice system’s sights. It all started with a complaint filed by two people for an attempted extortion of which they had been victims the same day, which will lead to the opening of an investigation by the Rouen prosecutor’s office on February 23, 2024. The complainants are Walid and Caroline, a couple dropping off their children at a school in Rouen. A certain “Amadou” approached them to reveal that he was part of a “Mexican cartel” whose son was murdered on the orders of “the father of the Rouen influencer Poupette Kenza”, reports The Parisian. This man then allegedly demanded 350,000 euros in compensation from the influencer. Otherwise, he would take revenge on Kenza. He allegedly encountered the refusal of Allan’s partner. Her partner was allegedly beaten up by the man who allegedly lost his son. The latter allegedly showed Walid photos of a smashed skull and broken arms to prove the beating.
