French people released in Burkina Faso after the intervention of King Mohammed VI

Following mediation conducted by the King Mohammed VIfour French citizens, held in Ouagadougou since December 2023, have been released.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad confirmed the mediation of the Moroccan Sovereign, highlighting the role of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Burkina Faso in this favorable outcome.
