Free public toilets everywhere in Morocco
A large number of public toilets have been installed in major Moroccan cities such as Marrakech, Casablanca, as part of integrated development and urban development programs. This is what emerges from the written response of the Minister of the Interior Abdelouafi Laftit to a question asked by the deputy Aziza Boujrida, member of the Haraki group.
“(In Marrakech), more than 15 public toilets are now available in various public and tourist spaces, including local markets, parks, gardens, parking lots and road stations,” said the minister, adding that the town plans to delegate the management of these installations to the private sector via partnerships, in order to expand the network of public toilets across the city.
