Foreign filming in Morocco: sharp rise in revenues
Revenues from the shooting of foreign films in Morocco have seen a sharp increase.
The diversity of landscapes, between mountains, desert, sea and historical monuments, in addition to modern infrastructure for film production and qualified human resources make Morocco a popular destination for many international film producers and directors, who choose to shoot their artistic productions in several cities of the kingdom. And, these shoots record record revenues. Revenues from the shooting of foreign films in Morocco increased this year, reaching 1.109 billion dirhams, the highest figure recorded since 2015, specifies the Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM).
