FIFA ranking: disappointment for the Moroccans

Morocco should lose a place in the FIFA rankings which will be published on November 28. According to projections from the “Football Ranking” site, the Atlas Lions would find themselves in 14th place in the world rankings, however retaining their leadership on the African continent and in the Arab world.

This drop is due to the comeback of Uruguay, which performed well during qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. The Uruguayans beat Colombia (3-2) and drew a draw against Brazil ( 1-1), highly ranked teams globally.
