Fez is crumbling under garbage

Several neighborhoods in the city of Fez offer a disgusting spectacle of garbage and household waste. Residents complain about it, but the city council has still not found a solution.

Fez is struggling to get rid of its garbage and household waste. Piles of garbage litter the interior of the new city and strategic places a few steps from administrations and institutions, such as the district not far from the Agdal train station, where a waste center is located a few meters from the French consulate. Worse, some neighboring shops and restaurants dispose of their waste in an anarchic manner outside the containers provided for this purpose. Similar scenes are observed on Florence Square, in the Agdal district, not far from the Bank of Morocco. Enough to provoke the anger of social media activists.
