Fès-Taounate expressway: where is the construction site?

The construction of a new expressway between Fez and Taounate is progressing rapidly. This large-scale project, divided into four phases, aims to improve road connections in the region and stimulate local economic development.

Mohamed Mouhtadi, responsible for the Temporary Development of the Fès-Taounate Expressway, indicated that the first phase, linking Taounate to Oulad Daoud over 16 km, is 65% complete. The project encountered difficulties, including the relocation of drinking water, electricity and fiber optic networks, as well as expropriation procedures.
