Fertilizer: Moroccan OCP responds to the United States

The Office Cherifien des Phosphates (OCP), Moroccan phosphate fertilizer giant, has strongly condemned the decision of the United States Department of Commerce (DOC) to increase tariffs on its fertilizers.

This decision is contrary to American law, denounced the OCP group in a press release published on November 7. “We will continue our ongoing appeals against these tariffs to the United States Court of International Trade, and we plan to appeal this latest decision by the DOC,” he said, recalling that the rates on fertilizers phosphates imported from Morocco increased from 14.21% to 16.81%.
