Family drama in Kelaâ des Sraghna: a mother killed by her son

A terrible family tragedy occurred Thursday evening in Douar Chorafa, in the commune of Chtaiba, near Kelaâ des Sraghna. A woman in her fifties was fatally struck in the head by her own son.

According to sources close to the investigation, the young man, suffering from mental disorders, had a violent altercation with his mother. Their argument reportedly broke out when the son demanded money from his mother, presumably to buy drugs.
