Falsified driving licenses for Moroccans



Two individuals are accused of having falsified driving licenses for the benefit of some 90 Moroccan nationals in Sebta. They risk two to three years in prison.


The facts date from 2016-2017. The accused were arrested for their involvement in a driving license falsification network, following an investigation by the National Police. The investigations made it possible to arrest a traffic officer, already deceased, as well as two employees of an agency responsible for facilitating procedures for the exchange of Moroccan driving licenses. The Sebta prosecutor’s office requested two years and 3 months in prison against each of the 90 defendants and a fine of 50 euros per day for 9 months. He also demanded the withdrawal of illegally obtained permits, relays Ceuta lighthouse.
