False bomb alert: MRE at great risk in Morocco

The Fez Court of Appeal has postponed until July 15 the examination of the case of the MRE accused of having launched a false bomb alert on board a flight from Belgium, where he resides, to Saïss airport.

The Court made this decision to allow the accused to hire a lawyer to prepare his defense. The MRE from Belgium, originally from the Taza region, is being prosecuted for hijacking and destruction of air navigation facilities for having launched a false bomb alert on board a flight from Belgium to Fez, creating panic among the passengers.
