Failed escape of four Moroccan prisoners in Belgium
Four Moroccans detained in Wortel prison, near Antwerp, attempted to escape on the night of Monday to Tuesday. Unfortunately for them, their plan did not succeed.
The inmates had planned their escape meticulously. They managed to remove bricks from their cell and make their way to the exit. It was when they were about to climb over the prison’s one-metre fence to get outside that the prison alarm sounded. It was around three in the morning. The four inmates were easily intercepted and brought back to their cell, Het Nieuwsblad reports as quoted by The Last Hour.
