F-16 Viper: New equipment for Moroccan pilots

British company Survitec, a leader in survival technology solutions, will soon start serial production of new flight equipment for F-16 Block 70/72 Viper pilots from Taiwan and Morocco.

Morocco and Taiwan will be the first beneficiaries of the new survival equipment for F-16 Viper pilots. After obtaining approval for its new AFE (Aircrew Flight Equipment) last August, Survitec announced that it would begin mass production of this equipment, intended primarily for these two countries, before extending it to others who order it, reports Air Force Technology. The first deliveries of the AFEs are scheduled for January 2025, ahead of the planned first flight of the F-16 Viper Block 70/72 manufactured by Lockheed Martin in Greenville, South Carolina, it said. These deliveries will be made from the Survitec plant in Ohio.
