Extreme temperatures in Morocco: up to 47°C expected

Morocco faces new wave of intense heat until Monday, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM), which has just issued an “Orange” level alert bulletin for several provinces of the Kingdom.

In the south-east of the country, Zagora, Tinghir, Errachidia, Tata, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Boujdour, Oued Ed-Dahab and Aousserd will experience scorching temperatures, ranging between 43 and 47°C.
