Europol tracks Moroccan fugitives

The European Criminal Police Agency (Europol) has stepped up checks at the border posts of Sebta and Melilla with Morocco in order to catch Moroccan criminals wanted in various European countries. One of them was arrested this week.

With the help of the Spanish police, Europol is currently carrying out control operations at the border of Sebta and Melilla with Morocco in search of Moroccans suspected of having committed offences and/or crimes in Europe. In this context, the agents are carrying out a thorough search of people and vehicles at the border crossings of the two autonomous cities with Morocco, reports Assabah.
