Emirates Mirage 2000-9: why Morocco will have to wait until 2027

The transfer by the United Arab Emirates of half of its 2000-9E fleet to Morocco is conditional on Abu Dhabi’s receipt of French Dassault Rafale F4 aircraft scheduled for 2027.

The transfer of 30 Emirati Mirage 2000-9E aircraft is the subject of discussions between the United Arab Emirates and Morocco. The transfer of these devices is however conditional on obtaining authorization from France, reports the site Saudi Defense. Abu Dhabi could cede half of its Mirage 2000-9E fleet to the Royal Air Forces (FRA) as soon as it receives the French Dassault Rafale F4 aircraft in 2027, adds the same source.
