El Jadida in shock: a sixty-year-old killed by a pitbull

A sixty-year-old man died after being attacked by a pit bull in the Essaada district of El Jadida. The dog’s owner, a “notorious delinquent”, was arrested and taken into custody.

It all started with an argument between the victim’s son and the owner of the pit bull. The latter, who “was in a hysterical state under the influence of psychotropic drugs, had, as usual, caused panic in the neighborhood on the evening of Saturday, July 20,” reports Assabah. While the victim’s son tried to calm him down by asking him to lock up his dogs, he was attacked by the offender and bitten on the hand by the dog. In the process, his father, a sixty-year-old, came out of the house to try to end the argument. But the situation escalated. A pit bull bit him on the leg before letting go after a long time. The owner of the pit bull was unable to control his three dogs.
