Drunk MRE sows panic in Marrakech

Marrakech police officers arrested and then took into custody a Frenchman of Moroccan origin after he crashed into several vehicles on a public road, injuring three cyclists and two pedestrians to varying degrees of severity.

A car burst onto the public highway and hit several vehicles, injuring three cyclists and two pedestrians to varying degrees of severity. The driver, a 38-year-old Frenchman of Moroccan origin, in an advanced state of intoxication, was surrounded by road users. In the process, the police intervened and arrested the MRE.
