Driving license: Angry MRE
Moroccan residents and drivers in Spain demonstrated last week before the DGT in Madrid and the Moroccan Embassy in Spain to demand that a solution be found in the driving license recognition problem.
To be recognized by their driving license in Spain, Moroccans residing in the Iberian Peninsula must undergo a theoretical examination, which seems complicated, some of them not knowing how to read or write in Spanish. Before 2004, Spain and Morocco had a direct recognition agreement for driving licenses.
