Disarray in Casablanca after the sudden closure of a school group

In Casablanca, students enrolled in the Burgundy school group will not be able to complete the school year due to the closure of the establishment without notice. A situation which causes the dismay of parents of students who request urgent intervention from the Ministry of National Education. Concerned, MP Atika Jabrou, member of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP), calls on Mohamed Saad Berrada.

If the management of the Bourgogne school group in Casablanca justifies the closure by legal problems concerning the legality of the school, reported at the start of the school year, this sudden decision arouses incomprehension among parents due to its impact. Parents of students must find an alternative establishment during the middle of the school year. A real ordeal in perspective, because the students find themselves deprived of their transcripts, the “Massar” system having been deactivated by the establishment. Result: it is difficult or even impossible for parents to enroll their children elsewhere when many of them had already paid school fees for the entire year, and cannot expect reimbursement.
