Counterfeit cosmetics: a time bomb for Moroccan women

Nadia Radouane, a specialist in dermatology and aesthetics, warns Moroccan women about the risks associated with the use of counterfeit cosmetic products.

The era of social networks also rhymes with the quest for elegance and respect for beauty standards. Many Moroccan women rush to products and follow this trend by resorting to counterfeit cosmetic products sold at prices lower than the originals. But this option is not without consequences on their skin. Even the use of original cosmetic products can cause damage to the skin, not to mention counterfeit products that do not comply with international standards, which means that they can contain harmful substances in large quantities to obtain a better apparent effect, explained Nadia Radouane, a specialist in dermatology and aesthetics to the site Madar21According to her, these counterfeit products cause serious skin problems, ranging from enlarged pores to the appearance of pimples all over the face, in addition to irritations and allergies, which can lead to infections or acne and its worsening, warns Nadia Radouane.
