Concern over the health of Moroccan actor Mohamed El Khalfi

Moroccan actor Mohamed El Khalfi was urgently admitted Thursday to a private hospital in Casablanca following a serious deterioration in his state of health. A source close to the artist confirmed his hospitalization in the morning and called for prayers for his speedy recovery.

An emblematic figure of Moroccan cinema, Mohamed El Khalfi has experienced serious health problems in recent years which forced him to move away from the artistic scene. Despite difficult conditions and a lack of access to care, he fought silently and alone against the illness that confined him to bed.
