Cold wave and snow in Morocco

Morocco is bracing for a cold snap with snowfall expected in several regions of the country.

According to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM), the provinces of Azilal, Beni Mellal, Al Haouz, Midelt, Tinghir and Ouarzazate will see their heights, exceeding 1,500 meters above sea level, covered with 20 to 40 cm of snow between Saturday and Monday.
