Climate change: Morocco among world leaders

Morocco is among the top 10 countries that have made significant investments in climate change and renewable energy, according to the Climate Change Performance Index (CCPI).

Morocco ranks ninth in this ranking carried out by “Germanwatch”, in collaboration with the “Climate Action Network” and the “New Climate Institute”, far ahead of Spain which is in eighteenth place. Denmark comes first in this list (4th place). It is followed by Estonia, the Philippines and India.
