Circumcision drama in Chefchaouen: a father makes disturbing revelations

The father of one of the children victims of the collective circumcision operation in Chefchaouen has made revelations about the incident. For their part, human rights associations intend to file complaints with the prosecution and request the opening of an investigation.

On September 20, the collective circumcision operation organized at the regional hospital of Chefchaouen by the local association for the support of women and children of Chefchaouen, in coordination with the administration of the aforementioned hospital and the local authorities turned into a nightmare. Five of the 45 beneficiaries contracted a serious infection and were admitted to the regional hospital of Chefchaouen, then transferred to the university hospital of Tangier after the deterioration of their health, where they will receive care which will last for many months.
