Cheb Bilal apologizes after his controversial comments on Morocco

Following a boycott campaign launched by Moroccans, the Algerian singer Cheb Bilal wanted to clarify his comments on Moroccan nationality.

In a video published on his Instagram account, the artist affirms that his statements were not intended to offend the Moroccan people. He explains that his intention was rather to show that Moroccan nationality would not bring him any additional advantages, given the warm welcome he already receives in Morocco.
