Casablanca taxis want to increase their prices
During a demonstration organized in Casablanca, taxi drivers and owners showed their opposition to prices that they consider unsuitable for their needs. They also denounced the delay in subsidies and unfair competition from other modes of transport.
Last weekend, taxi drivers and owners expressed their anger at the rates applied for more than 20 years for the transport of passengers between the different districts of the city despite the increase in the price of fuel and unfair competition from transport services via mobile applications. According to them, these prices prevent them from working optimally. In unison, they demanded a revision of tariffs based on meters, reports Morocco Diplomatic.
