Casablanca police track stolen motorcycles

Casablanca wants to put an end to motorcycle thefts and the most common motorcycle crimes. A vast campaign to control motorcycle drivers has been launched in this direction.

A campaign to control motorcycle drivers is being carried out in Casablanca, as well as in surrounding areas such as Médiouna, Tit Mellil and Mohammedia. At the helm are security agents from the city’s prefecture who have set up police checkpoints in several streets to control motorcycles, reports Hespressadding that even the motorcycles of delivery men working for goods delivery companies are also checked. On the ground, police officers stop drivers to check if they have the documents relating to the motorcycles they are using and at the same time recover the stolen motorcycles. The aim is to put an end to thefts, especially motorcycle burglaries.
