Casablanca in full metamorphosis

In the perspective of the organization of the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2025 in Morocco, Casablanca accelerates the pace in the last line of preparations.

Casablanca is active for the preparations for the African Cup of Nations (CAN Morocco 2025). In this sense, the Council of the Casablanca region studied, during its last extraordinary session, the rehabilitation of certain stadiums which will host the activities planned on the sidelines of the African tournament. The redevelopment projects of road axes connecting the large stadium of Casablanca, located in the province of Benslimane, to the prefecture of Mohammedia, were also examined. The Council allocated part of its contribution to the financing of expropriation operations in the urban areas of the municipalities of Bouznika and Mansouria (province of Benslimane), as well as the redevelopment of networks linked to the roads concerned by the Convention. He also entrusted the implementation of the network transfer project to the Regional Company of Multiple Services and to the Redal Company, responsible for the distribution of water, electricity and liquid sanitation.
