Casablanca: a truck hits a tram station, three dead

A tragedy struck Casablanca in the early morning this Wednesday. A semi-trailer violently hit the “Ibn Tachfine” tram station, causing the death of three people and injuring several other users.

According to consistent sources, the driver of the heavy goods vehicle lost control of his vehicle following a failure of the braking system. The truck then finished its mad race against the tram station. A young woman present at the scene was killed instantly.
