Casablanca: a police officer at the heart of a financial scandal
The Moroccan General Directorate of National Security announced the opening of a judicial investigation concerning a police officer from the prefecture of Casablanca. The latter is suspected of having embezzled more than 4 million dirhams, or around 360,000 euros, to the detriment of a service station manager.
The case started with a complaint filed by the owner of a gas station who had a contract with the Aïn Sebaâ police for the supply of fuel to their vehicles. He claimed not to have been paid for part of his services.
