Casablanca: a 5-year-old child tortured by his mother

A 5-year-old child was reportedly the victim of torture in Casablanca. His mother, a 32-year-old woman, was arrested and then taken into police custody.

It all started with a report from the headmistress of the school where the 5-year-old child was educated. She discovered recent and older injuries on the child’s body, including in sensitive areas. The child protection unit intervened quickly. She ensured that the child received the necessary medical care and psychological support.
