Carrefour Maroc drops a complaint against an activist

Carrefour has just withdrawn its complaint against an activist who called at the end of December on its social networks to boycott the French brand’s store in Asfi.

This human rights activist called for “boycotting Carrefour Asfi”. Hence the complaint filed against him by the French distribution giant. Following this complaint, the young man was arrested by the judicial police of the city of Al Youssoufia, then presented before the King’s Prosecutor of the city’s court of first instance, Friday January 3. He will be released after paying bail set at 5,000 dirhams.
