Car parks in Casablanca: the end of chaos in sight?

Casablanca is seeking ways and means to regulate the car parking sector, in anticipation of the Morocco 2025 African Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup.

The municipality of Casablanca wants to put an end to illegal car guards who are sowing chaos in the city. Nabila Rmili, the city’s mayor, recently announced the suspension of the issuance and renewal of individual licenses for parking lots for cars, motorcycles and other vehicles. A note was sent to this effect to the district heads, with the approval of the Wali of the Casablanca-Settat region.
