CAN 2025 logo: Morocco winks at Algeria

Morocco, which will host the next CAN, has unveiled the official logo of the competition. The inclusion of zellige is not accidental.

A few hours before the draw for the groups for the final phase of the African Cup of Nations scheduled for Monday January 27 in Rabat, Morocco unveiled the competition logo. This evokes the trophy and the zellige, a Moroccan mosaic. “It celebrates the heritage and unity of the African continent,” explains the CAN on its official website. This logo symbolizes pride, resilience and hope, connecting sport and art. Inspired by Moroccan “zellij”, a timeless mosaic art form, the tournament logo redefines football as a canvas where creativity, precision and passion meet.”
