In their social media posts, Internet users have drawn attention to the alleged presence of sharks off the coast and to the increase in prices in cafes and restaurants, calling on the authorities to take measures to combat these campaigns and ensure the region’s tourist appeal. These include fabricated videos of shark attacks and photos of consumer bills shared on Facebook.
