British woman spends £3,000 to save injured Moroccan dog
A 65-year-old retiree, Sue Fisher, spent the tidy sum of £3,000 to repatriate an injured stray dog, found during a holiday in Morocco in November 2023. Fallen under the spell of this puppy named Lucy, she decided to do everything to implement to give it a new life.
During a stay in Taghazout with her sister, Sue discovers Lucy, her leg broken in three places, wandering behind their hotel. Faced with the animal’s distress, she decides to finance an emergency surgical operation for the sum of £100. Back on the Isle of Man, Sue sends photos of Lucy to her husband, Grant, a 60-year-old retired engineer. The couple then decides to adopt the puppy, relays the newspaper The daily mail.
