Boycotted, Moroccan artists are angry

A wave of discontent is shaking the Moroccan artistic scene. Many singers have publicly denounced their exclusion from summer festivals organized in several coastal cities of the country, particularly in the north.

Highly appreciated by Moroccan and Arab audiences, rapper ElGrande Toto expressed his frustration on social media after being denied access to the stages of the Tangier and M’diq festivals. He called on the organizers and the relevant authorities, demanding more fairness in the selection of artists.
