“Benefit scraper”: Anis, 14, victim of racist attack in France

Anis, a 14-year-old teenager in the fourth year at the Émile Zola secondary school in Sotteville-lès-Rouen, was called a “benefit scraper” and beaten up by three individuals as he left school on Thursday, June 20. His mother reported a racist attack.

While waiting for his mother around 7pm near his school after a sports class, Anis was attacked by three young strangers. The 14-year-old boy, of Franco-Algerian origin, was insulted as a “benefit scraper” and beaten up, reports France Blue.
