Belgium: Mohamed-Amine Dardour, on the run for murder, arrested
Wanted since the end of June for the murder of Soufiane Benali, Mohamed-Amine Dardour, 25, was arrested on Saturday by the Belgian federal police.
Mohamed-Amine Dardour was arrested on Saturday after a month and a half on the run, the federal police announced in a statement on Sunday. The 25-year-old is accused, along with two accomplices, of the murder of Soufiane Benali, during a shooting that occurred on the night of 4 to 5 July 2020, on rue Alfred Orban in the city centre of Forest in the Brussels region, which also left two people seriously injured, aged 17 and 19.
